The Blue Flag, maximum recognition of quality of the beaches, will return to wave on Playa Grande, Matagorda and Los Pocillos. Twenty-one are the beaches of the archipelago Canario that have been winning as excellent for the bathing, normative environmental and sanitary and safety infrastructures that guarantee health and safety for the swimmers. Lanzarote has been winning with 7 flags, 3 for the shore of Tías. The much desired flags will be on the beaches beginning from June 5th, “Environment World Day” and June 8th, “World Day of the Oceans”.
