Tuesday 2 October will be the 50th anniversary of the building of Taro of Tahiche, the house volcano where the artist César Manrique lived since his return from New York (1969) up to 1988, year when started the transformation of it in museum and actual center of the Foundation to him entitled, transferring his residence close to the museum of Haría. The project to build its house in the Taro of Tahiche was determined to the beginning by the desire of César to create a house of artists, among which Manolo Millares and Pepper Dámaso, to form a cultural project for Lanzarote.
For this event, Foundación César Manrique organizes a special event at the foundation this tuesday the 2nd, at 20:00, during which there will be music, aperitif and you could visit the museum until 23:00.
