Nata Estevez (sax), Andrés Chapapote (Hammond), Juan Upegui (drums) and musician from Lanzarote Lucas de Mulder (guitar), are the members of Mighty Vamp. With an excellent recently released 1st album called “Pijama” de Lino, with company from Madrid Sweet Records, the band has made their way into the funk scene thanks to the intensity of their live performances and that fresh and personal way they have to take on board the in uence of classics such as Boogaloo Joe Jones, Jimmy Smith and Jimmy McGriff. With their eye on new bands like New Mastersounds, Mighty Vamp is the new wise one in town, on a stage that keeps regenerating itself.
