The Government of Canary Island will invest more than 430.000 euros to increase broadband connection and speed up internet service in Lanzarote. The operation, requested almost one year ago by Cabildo, will cover that areas hardly reachable by the network. We are talking about Las Casitas, Maciot and Playa Quemada, in the municipality of Yaiza, Las Laderas (Teguise), Vega de Tegoyo (Tías), as Guinate, Órzola, Tabayesco and Ye, in Haría. Basically all the residents in these areas will be able to get a optical fibre at a speed of 100 Megabits per second.
